Dr Jessica Bloor, M.D. (Melit.), MRCPCH, FRCR, is a senior clinical radiology resident in the Leeds–Bradford training scheme, subspecialising in paediatric radiology. Prior to radiology training, she completed three years of paediatric training in South Yorkshire, gaining clinical experience in general paediatrics, paediatric intensive care, and neonatal intensive care. Her current practice includes neonatal and paediatric imaging.

Graduated from The University of Leeds in 2015 with a MBChB and a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science. Completed foundation training in Leeds and Harrogate, which included a FY1 post in radiology, the experience that kick started radiology as a specialty career. Completed radiology training in the Leeds and West Yorkshire radiology academy, with subspecialty training in paediatric radiology. Completed a paediatric radiology fellowship at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS trust prior to CCT this year. Currently working as a consultant radiologist in Bradford.

Alongside subspecialty interest in paediatric radiology, also interested in postgraduate teaching and support developed whilst a radiology trainee representative for 3 years.

Outside of work, enjoy running, cycling and swimming, proud to have completed an Ironman in 2022. Also enjoy the company of two rescue cats, mum and son pair Fern and Loki!

Doctor Jeannette Kraft

Jeannette Kraft is a Consultant Paediatric Radiologist with special interest in musculoskeletal imaging at Leeds Children’s Hospital where she leads paediatric rheumatology, orthopaedic, neuromuscular and skeletal dysplasia meetings. She graduated in Germany in 1996 and was awarded an MD in 1998. She trained in paediatric imaging in Leeds and at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. She is the BMUS treasurer and the Scientific Organising Committee Chair of the 2025 BMUS Annual Scientific Meeting. As Scientific Director for the European Training Assessment Programme and Member of the RCR Specialty Training Board she works to improve training and education. She represents the UK in the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) Section of Radiology.

Dr Nasim Tahir is a Paediatric Radiologist and joined Leeds Children’s Hospital in September 2010. He has a subspecialist interest in Paediatric Interventional Radiology and helped develop a first class imaging service with many patients being referred throughout Yorkshire. He performs many routine and specialist diagnostic and interventional procedures including central venous access, biopsies and sclerotherapy for vascular malformations.

Mrs Lorraine Walsh
Birmingham Women's and Children's Hospital

Lorraine is a Consultant Paediatric Sonographer with a clinical focus on ultrasound following liver transplantation. She has a strong interest in supporting patients with additional needs, developing visual communication resources to enhance the patient experience. Lorraine edited the paediatric ultrasound chapter in Abdominal Ultrasound: How, Why and When (2022) and is a member of the BMUS Editorial Board. She has presented at BMUS and UKIO, winning the BMUS Academic Poster Award for her work on post-transplant liver Doppler imaging. Lorraine also contributes to BMUS paediatric imaging guidelines through the Paediatric Ultrasound Specialist Group.
